This place isn't bad. The decor could use some updating, even for a cabin in the mountains kind of theme. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't memorable or anything. I have gone twice because my parents wanted to go and they paid. :) Service has always been good though.
We went to Montana Jack's on a busy Saturday night without reservations. We were able to get a reservation for 20 minutes later than we called. We sat at the bar until our table was ready. The bartender let us add our bar tab to our table bill, which was nice since neither of us had cash on us. The menu was diverse, but not overly huge so decision making was possible! I had the bourbon-glazed salmon with rice and my husband had the ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes. Both were excellent! Perfectly cooked and a good portion size. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that the salad bar really needed to be restocked and the waitress seemed overly streched for the tables she had. The lettuce was gone as were a lot of the side veggies. The waitress kept the drinks filled though, so that was a plus for her! I will definately go back. It's one of our new favorites!
